Update from the Bronx

I'm FINALLY getting to an update! Ugh. Sorry for those who really do wanna keep up and know what's going on with the Yankee Mooshine clan! (If anyone would like to know where this name came from..just let me know). :)

I have one little catching a few minutes of Blues Clues, and another due to wake from a nap in exactly 6 mins. So this post will be straight to the point of what's going on in our world.

As most of you know we have decided to obey the Lord's urging in our hearts, and thus will be leaving NYC and moving to Utah. I cant say that "we decided to move", as it TOTALLY caught us off guard, and yet was SO clear that this was what we were to do. Every visit that we've made out to the Salt Lake City, thus far, has only deepened our conviction that this is exactly where the Lord would have us to be in this season of life.

We put our place on the market at the end of June, and after just 3 weeks we got an offer. After deliberating on price a day or so, we settled, and are now just waiting for a closing date. We anxiously await the call with a date.

Ben is supposed to report to EMC's Draper, UT office at the end of September, so, we're hoping that the closing will be within the next few weeks.

We were looking at homes in the area, and then decided that we'd just rather rent for 6 months- a year and take our time in looking at homes. It's much easier when you live IN the state. :)

EMC's relocation offer was just amazing and SO God. They literally take care of EVERYTHING. Having two sweet little gals, this will probably be the easiest move (stuff wise) that we'll eer make as a family. :) We have been advised to pack nothing except that which we'll need for our flight. They will come in and pack it all up, and even unpack some for you at the new destination. Yes please, and THANK you!

I'm focusing most of my attention on familiarizing myself with the area we will be living in, and planning out my plan of getting the girls moved over to the 2 hr time difference BEFORE we arrive in Utah. I would rather NOT start my days at 4:30-5 am. :) Any advice form Moms would be greatly welcomed.

With that, Little #2 has is "communicating" that she is awake and ready for lunch. :) Her sister just confirmed "Momma!....Cori kyyyyying"

Thanks for all the prayers and love that many of you have expressed in this whole move process. :* I "HOPE" to make blogging a bit more of a priority in months to come. Here's to praying! :):) Blessings!
