Family Life
Well, HELLLOOOO Blogger!
I've been an avid Xanga user since my college days, and I still post over there at times. However, I thought I would set up an official "Thomas Family" blog to keep family/friends posted on all that's going on here in the lovely Bronx with our little family :).
I'm still playing with the site. The name is one that Ben and I came up with when we were courting. :) It's what you get when you mix a city boy with a country girl :), ha. As for the look of the page, we'll see what I can come up with as I find time to play around with it.
A little post for the day - the weather man said rain, rain, rain, but so far it looks like a nice cool day outside. Ben and I are kidsitting :) for some friends from church, ages 9 and 11. Ab is taking her morning nap while the others are catching up with X-Men -The last stand. :) We made homemade cinnamon rolls last night, and popped them in the oven this morning for breakfast (after our eggs of course:)). MMM....HAPPY Saturday Morning!
I have my lovely Glucose test this afternoon. I actually didn't have any issues when I took it with Abi, so...fingers crossed that I dont get any crazy side effects this time either! :)
On another note, today would've been my Grandma's birthday. Miss her so much still. I remember I used to pray that she would live long enough to see my kids - but then when I saw her suffering, discontinued that request. But there are still times that I sure do wish she could've met this great little gal who makes me giggle and smile SO many times a day. Oddly enough, Abi actually does 2 things that my grandma used to do. She'll sit with her little hands in her lap and bounce them up and down, or play with her own fingers. And then she loves to pick at my fingernails, which my grandma used to do whenever I would lay in bed and talk to her. It's such a little thing....but oooh...it's like warm milk to the soul when she does it.
Wlell, that's all for now folks - hopefully I can keep this a habit during nap times. Baby #2 is coming in just a mere 3 months - so, here's to hoping! :):)
Much love!
