More Coming...
Ok, I TOTALLY have a LOT to update, as soon as I get a spare moment to sit and get my thoughts together on it all. In the mean time I wanted to share this poem. A friend of mine wrote this a LONG time ago and shared it with me. She was an internet friend that I never met in person, and haven't heard from in YEARS. However, once she sent me this poem, I printed it and it has been taped to the inside front of my bible for a looooong time. It serves as a great reminder to me....
The Silence Just Before Dawn
There's a part of the day worth rising for,
before the day is set in motion;
Moments before the morning begins
with noise and constant commotion.
These are the moments when God softly speaks
and we gain wisdom for the day ahead.
These are the moments we shut out the world
and focus on God instead.
Then by merely asking for His strength
we'll find that He always supplies.
We'll discover his infinite ways are best
when we look at the world through His eyes.
These minutes with God are so valuable,
for being with Him can offer us peace.
Just voicing our burdens to Him in prayer
can be such a gentle release.
Then our hearts are refueled for a busy day,
and whatever we may have going on.
For we had precious time with our Creator
in the silence just before dawn.
